After spending a really fun day swimming and fishing and playing at Grandma's house we were headed to the truck to go home. Kayli was waiting to be put in her car seat and Grandma was waiting with a box of strawberry jam to be put in the truck. They had a sweet conversation I never want to forget.
Grandma - Do you like the strawberries Kayli?
Kayli - No
Grandma - Do you like the strawberry jam we made?
Kayli - No
Grandma - Well do you like me?
Kayli - Yes, (dramatic pause) but I don't want to eat you.
HaHa I still laugh thinking about it. I thought it was SO funny, the best part was she was so serious when she said it. She really did not want to eat her Grandma and was very appalled to think about Grandma in the same context as strawberries.
