I must confess: Sharing isn't always my strength.

Breakfast was simple this morning. Cinnamon & Sugar toast. While the girls where chowing down I was cleaning the kitchen. This is what I overheard..

Kat: "NOOOOOOO"
Kayli: "But Katherine God wants us to share."
Kat: "Nooooooo"
Kayli: "God wants you to share your toast."
Kat: "NOOOO"

Me: "Kayli, is your toast gone?"
Kayli: "Yes"
Me: "Then whose toast are you eating?"
Kayli: 'Katherines, I have half and she has half, God wants us to share'
Me: 'Did you share your toast?"
Kayli: 'no.... but if I had another piece I would share it"

My silly little girl. She isn't so great at sharing, but thinks everyone else needs to; but really, aren't we all that way. When we are content we don't think about the others around us who might need for us to share a bit, but when we want something, we sure find plenty of people who need to share with us.... I know I am that way. God spoke to me through my children this morning, I'm going to actively look for people to share with... maybe you could do the same? What you don't have anything to share? I seriously doubt it, even a smile would be a nice thing to share...

YOUR TURN: What is God telling you to share?
