On the way to church yesterday Kayli yelled, "MOM I HAVE AN ISSUE!"
"What Kayli?" I asked, quite flabbergasted that my 2 year old is complaining of an issue.
"I need a tissue.".....
HAHAHAHA My two year old has a runny nose, and instead of saying so she tells me
I have an issue,
I need a tissue.
It might just be me, but I think I have pretty sophisticated 3 year old. (And perhaps a poet as well.)
If that's not enough for one day let me tell you what else happened recently.
I can't remember exactly the circumstances but I know that Kayli was in trouble for something and quite upset she declared she was not going eat dinner.
"Why aren't you going to eat dinner?"
"Because Mommy is mean!" She shouted, and then pondered for a few seconds before continuing, "Mommy is mean, but Mommy is also nice. She is a mix!"
Cutie has got Mommy pegged, a little mean, a little nice, and a whole lot of love no matter what!
Not only sophisticated, and poetic but very philosophical as well. I have quite the three year old!
