Bedtime Story

Since our children were born, the bedtime ritual of reading a story has always been my job. I always had a love for reading and since Josh hates to read it was natural for me to take over this part of bedtime. I love this part of the night because the girls always smell so sweet and clean in their PJ's and they sit quietly and listen, they truly enjoy being read to. Well, for the past two nights Josh has read them their story and I think I've been replaced. He did such a good job reading, he changed voices for the different characters, and even made sound effects. The girls squealed in delight as he read and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside watching them bond. From now on I think we are going to fight over who gets to read them their bedtime story. If the girls vote, I bet I'll lose.
