Tomorrow is the first day of Christmas break.
For the past six months I've known it would be time to say goodbye to the boys.
It's not time.
We will have them for a few more weeks at least.
I think bio Mom has court at the end of the month. (That is according to what she told the boys.)
We will be taking them home for a Christmas visit this weekend and picking them back up on Wednesday.
So what i've learned is that in foster care… expect nothing. No one really knows whats going on.
The state social worker who is as in charge of their case as you can possibly be in this type of situation was not afraid to tell us she doesn't want to keep us informed on what is going on. (Normal? I have no clue.)
So here we are. Living one day at a time
Pouring as much love into this family as we can possibly squeeze into whatever time we have left.
