His hands are calloused.
There is dirt under his fingernails
and stubble on his chin.
He unclogs our toilets,
squishes scary spiders,
& swats away the stingers.
BUT
He isn't as tough as you would think...
...in fact...
underneath that tough
manly exterior
he's actually quite soft and sweet.
{Shhhh.... Don't tell him I told you!}

I think a lot of men are like that, soft. I make my boyfriend remove the spiders.. he doesn't even kill them! he opens the door and releases them outside! He also thinks social networks are silly, but I don't care and he is okay I social network.. so, we're good =) mine has calloused hands too from the guitar, but i am okay. i just hope one day, he writes a song about me,,, even if it's silly... because that i am. this post,,, had a lot of truth and i love that. some men, they are so tough and so sweet. this was such a warming and sweet post <3 <3 <3
