I did not forget to study for a major anatomy/physiology exam until the day before and then spend that day cramming every bit of knowledge I could into my poor overstuffed brain while entertaining my children with paper mosaics.
I did not come home to find that my babysitter had not only let my children 'paint' their room, but the wooden bunk beds I shared with my sister, brand new hard wood floors, door knobs, closet, and more. A whole gallon of paint wasted and a whole room destroyed. I am so glad that didn't happen because if it did I would be finding me a new babysitter!
I did not also find out that aforementioned babysitter did not change the diaper my 2 year old went to bed in the night before. (I leave for school before they wake up.) I did not get lectured by my Mom, (who relieved the babysitter because I was still in class when she got off work) because my poor baby's diaper was so full it wouldn't hold another drop and was soaking through her pants.
I am not currently trying to find a new babysitter and as a result I am certainly not planning on taking my 2 year old and 4 year old with me to class... that would be insanity!
I am not looking for a full time job that pays equal to my hubby's so that I can work and go to school and he can become the stay at home Dad who keeps toddlers out of paint and changes diapers. I am not super jealous that he might get to do that in my place.
I did not eat half a pan of magic cookie bars all by myself on Tuesday. I am trying to loose all my baby baby fat. I wouldn't be that dumb!
